Money and Risk is a multi-author website. Our focus is on finance and business information for women and business owners. We believe that business and personal finance have a symbiotic relationship with each other.
There are two ways of submitting stories to us: as a reader or as a guest author.

GUEST AUTHORS
We’re open to different kinds of finance topics as long as they are beneficial to our readers. We love to hear about new ideas and point of views.
The photograph above perfectly illustrate the typical response of most people to the word “FINANCE”.
Our challenge is to make finance fun, engaging, and understandable to the average reader, some of whom may have learned English as a second language. We recommend that you test the effectiveness of your writing by running it by teenagers with very low attention span. We have found it to be a useful gauge.
We’re looking for articles with the following attributes:
1) Factual – Please ensure that your information is correct. It is vitally important to us that our authors present all the key information so that readers are not mislead. We take our commitment to excellence very seriously.
2) Well researched
3) Looking at both sides if possible. We like to have both pros and cons.
4) Content must be non promotional. We are a resource for our readers.
5) Length is not important. Well written, well communicated content is more important. What is important is that you have something interesting or of value to say or to share. If the topic is too complex to address in one article, feel free to let us know that it will be a series.
6) It’s important to us that you are passionate about the topics you choose. We care deeply about educating our readers and we expect the same from our contributors.
7) We’re looking for experts who are practicing the topic at hand on a daily basis. We find that hands on experience provides a perspective that no amount of research can compete with. We strive to provide our readers with data that is not available anywhere else. 90% of content on the internet is curated (sourced from someone else). We want to provide a deeper level of information.
8) Original content.
9) We will accept curated content (compiled from other sources) but we ask that your opinions be clear and you bring a twist to the restated content.
All contents submitted must be the original work of the contributor and available exclusively for the use of Money and Risk. This means that your submitted article will not be posted anywhere else including on your own website.
We work on an editorial calendar and schedule articles out in advance. It may take several weeks for your accepted article to be published. We reserve the right to schedule the publication of the article because we take our responsibility to our guest authors seriously. In some cases, the topic might be quite advanced and we want to make sure that we have provided the basic knowledge for the readers to appreciate your work.
For example, a discussion about self insurance pool would need to be positioned well. We would make sure that our readers understand the following: the insurance, the different choices of standard coverage, the obstacles, the costs, and then lead into self insurance. We want to make sure that we generate as many readers for you as possible.
